• The time to recite the daily Shema

• Candle lighting time on Erev Shabbat (It also rings 15 minutes in advance as a reminder!)
• Additional Prayers for Rosh Chodesh and Hol Hamoed reminder.
• The New Moon reminder.
• Additional prayers for Hanukah and Purim
• The counting of the Omer, which changes at sunset
• The Torah Portion of the week, with a choice of setting for Israel or the Diaspora

The digital watch can be set to display the Hebrew or Gregorian date, in your choice of Hebrew or English. Conversion between the two calendars is automatic. The Hebrew dates changes at sunset.
